The events that have been taking place in the world for a few months have stimulated the paradigm shift that has only been glimpsed so far. It requires the development of new skills.
Through our sorlekua Leadership Foundation, we have been working on change management for 15 years, counting on leading world figures who have experienced the expansion of consciousness in themselves and know how to use to reach our maximum potential.
On Friday, November 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the sorlekua headquarters in Getxo, we organized a face-to-face master class for managers with Sesha. He is one of the great masters of the Advaita Vedanta philosophy, who has created a method for efficient care and the development of innate skills.
The facilities meet the conditions and follow the requirements to achieve the security conditions required by the COVID19 protocols.

In this practice, each assistant will obtain the personalized keys to discover their own potential and prepare for new challenges. Scientists such as Antonio Damasio, Professor of Neurobiology at the University of Southern California and Director of the Institute for the Development of Creativity and Brain Capacities, have shown that people are aware of 15% of our thinking at most; the remaining 85% it is unconscious yet to be developed.
The Max Planck Institute for Human Brain and Cognitive Sciences has shown that with this type of training our brain is transformed.
The sorlekua Foundation
sorlekua was created in 2005, in the Basque Country, to promote Leadership and Management from Human Values.
Its godparents were Antonio and Hanna Damasio, neurobiologists and professors at the University of Southern California, where Antonio Damasio is Director of the Institute for the Neurological Study of Emotion and Creativity.
sorlekua, in collaboration with scientists from around the world, promotes a new way of training leaders in organizations based on the emotional and self-knowledge, with proven results in improving the management of people, interpersonal relationships and non-technical skills, which have a positive impact on the business.
Thoughtful movement
sorlekua wants to create a new transformative leadership model, capable of generating change in organizations, giving rise to a new socio-economic reality. For this it is proposed:
- Facilitate the growth of leaders who guide and set an example, to advance in the development of the maximum potential of the human being.
- Incorporate neuroscience and oriental practices in the identification and experience of the values and capacities of emerging leaders.
- Move the axis of decision and action of the leaders towards new ways of thinking and doing, through self-knowledge and Motivation Management®
Activities
The foundation has carried out for 15 years a series of conferences with the motto Building the Leader of the 21st Century, as well as training courses with the participation of leading figures in management, leadership and personal transformation. Some of them have been Robin Sharma, Jean Shinoda Bolden, Sir John Whitmore, Gülsun Zeytinoglu, Carmen Martín, Vered Neta, Norma Mollot, etc.
Likewise, sorlekua has awarded the Leadership from Values Award to people who have excelled in management and the business world, such as David Álvarez, Chairman of the Eulen Group, Amparo Moraleda, Chairwoman of IBM, or Carmen Mur, President of Manpower .
Methodology
The sorlekua Foundation is based on Jungian analytical psychology and Gestalt, developed by Fritz and Laura Perls at the beginning of the 20th century, and uses the tools of coaching and mentoring, as well as other psycho-sensitive techniques and oriental practices.
The sorlekua foundation’s working method is based on dismantling the manager to build the leader.
It is a process in six stages that goes from the basic level in the human being of the physical self, to the last step, inspiration. Each level corresponds to values that must be experienced in that phase, for which a series of capacities that the person needs to be developed to experience them to their maximum potential must be developed.
Training modifies our brain and behavior
Short, targeted, daily mental training is proven to cause structural changes in the adult brain, which in turn leads to improved social intelligence: attributes such as empathy, compassion, and perspective taking are essential for interactions successful social work, conflict resolution and cooperation.
The Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences has shown that, with training in factors of consciousness, mindfulness, socio-affective and socio-cognitive skills, our brain is transformed.
In the international ReSource study, 300 people were trained for months, using advanced techniques, and behavioral changes were compared with those of other people who did not participate in the training. Thus, changes in the structure of the brain were measured by means of magnetic resonance images and the stress system was verified by means of numerous biomarkers, such as the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in saliva.
The findings are staggering, as the brain’s structure in associated areas as well as related behaviors changed and its disposition to stress decreased significantly.
