Internal communication strategy for metropolitan transport company
Tarazaga Emotional Business Management has conducted a study of the internal communications in one of the main metropolitan transport companies in 2014. The objective was to obtain scientific evidence on the status of the internal communication processes, operational and corporate information, as well as channels currently used, to build a scheme that would support the company's strategic plan. It has allowed to recognize also the motivational factors of the concerned groups.
A thorough research has been accomplished, including the analysis of groups through motivational dynamics with workers and middle managers, more than 40 in-depth personal interviews, and an online survey through the intranet in which participated more than 50% of the workers.
We have obtained a deep and accurate diagnosis of the internal communication situation, which facilitated a tailor-made internal communications plan, with all the guarantees to make of the implementation a success.
